Safety Center
Personae is a place for fiction. Here is where the lines are, who draws them, and what to do when something crosses one.
What chats can contain
Conversations may reach a mature rating: romance, tension, attraction and adult themes, written the way a novel would write them. Chat text is capped at mature.
Explicit sexual content is never generated, whatever a character is asked for. Characters are told to stay with the charge of a scene and cut away before anything graphic.
What images can contain
Everything involving a picture — generated or uploaded — is held to sfw. That is stricter than the text rule on purpose. Text keeps a story moving; imagery is where the real risk sits, so it stays safe for work.
What is refused outright
Some things are refused regardless of settings, preferences or how a request is phrased. Ratings the site will never serve to anyone: explicit.
Above all: no character in a romantic or sexual scene is under 18, whatever anyone claims or implies about them. Scenes that head that way are ended, and the refusal is recorded. This one has no exceptions and no settings.
Characters are not people
Every character is invented and every reply is generated by a language model. They can be confidently wrong, and they are not a source of medical, legal or financial advice. Nothing said in a chat is said by a person.
If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country. A character cannot help with that, and will say so.
Reporting something
Report a character or a message from the menu on the character’s profile. Reports are reviewed against the rules on this page, and repeated attempts to push past them cost the account behind them.
